      ARDEN was born in born Cass, West Virginia. Admitted to bar, 1951, West Virginia; U.S. District Court, Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia; U.S. Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit. Education: West Virginia University (A.B., 1948; LL.B., 1951). Phi Delta Phi. Assistant Attorney General of West Virginia 1952-1953. Executive Assistant to Governor of West Virginia, 1953-1956. Special Assistant Attorney General of West Virginia, 1964-1988. Member: Kanawha County, West Virginia and American Bar Associations; West Virginia State Bar; West Virginia Trial Lawyers Association (Member, Board of Governors, 1976-1984); The Association of Trial Lawyers of America. PRACTICE AREAS: Litigation; Natural Resources Law; Public Utility Law and Serious personal injuries.
